Experience and Qualifications of Personnel

Design Intent Architects is a small architectural firm lead by Scott DeMartelaere, AIA, with over 25 years of experience and over 15 years of experience owning and running his own firm. His extensive experience in managing projects has been shown by his ability to start and run a successful architecture firm. 

He has extensive experience in choosing professional personnel for project teams, organizing multiple firms’ design efforts and ensuring quality on-time and on-budget projects.  Every project he has worked on in the past twelve years at his firm has been led by him personally.   

Design Intent Architects has compiled a team of professionals that have already worked together on several projects. As a team that has a cohesive professional relationship, we have the ability to work harmoniously to create a seamless project. 

Qualifications

Scott DeMartelaere has over 25 years’ experience in facilities, planning, building programs and design. He has been project manager, architect and principal-in-charge for medical office buildings, assisted living facilities, religious, adaptive reuse, corporate, commercial, educational and governmental projects. He listens and works well with staff and community members to help create enduring design solutions that respond to unique client programs.
